Opening hours

The Carmelites have formed a partnership with the University of Divinity for the management of the Library from October 2023 to December2024. During this time the University team will work with the Carmelite Library Interim Board to collaboratively develop recommendations as to the most appropriate long-term structure for the library operation.

To enable the University team to prepare for this project, the Carmelite Library will be closed to the public from Thursday 28 September 2023 until the end of January 2024. Borrowing and returning books from the Carmelite Library collection during this period can be organised via the Mannix Library in East Melbourne. Getting to the Library

By car:
Melway ref. 2K C10. Street parking available (one-hour and unrestricted).

By tram:
Tram 96 to the MSAC (Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre) Wright Street stop and 300 metres south on Wright Street; or

Tram 12 to stop 135 (Middle Park Primary School) and 100 metres east on Richardson Street.
